If there is 3 more urinals in that bathroom.... I know 3 more that also deserves a pinup.
Johnson.. Mac'Mera.. Westmoreland.....The Body Counters .... We'll kill more of them' Than they will of us....Even though Mac And West, Knew the count was ''Multiplied'' all the way up the chain of command and spoon fed to Johnson and the press...
Thank you Sully for a great story and Rhino, I attend several funerals every year and have learned to wear dark glasses due to the tears that I shed every time I hear TAPS. I've even tried to learn the words, but this feeble mind has a hard time with that even tho there are not that many.
Day is done, gone the sun, from the lakes, from the hills, from the sky, all is well, safely, rest, God is near.
Fading light, dims the sight , and a star gems the sky gleaming bright, from afar, drawing, near, falls the night. Thanks and praise, for our days, neath the sun, neath the stars, neath the sky, as we go, this we know,.......God is near.........
Wow, that's amazing! I did see some planes make it back to Utapao during Vietnam and some were a little customized, but nothing like that. That had to be a rough ride and a big shock when they got on the ground!!
A while ago, the US Navy successfully conducted take-offs and landings from a fairly new nuclear aircraft carrier, the USS George H.W. Bush, with a new stealth jet called the X-47B.
What is so different about this plane is the fact that it is a 'drone'. Yes, it is completely unmanned. Drones come in all sizes and the X-47B is likely one of the larger ones. What is so ironic about all of this is the fact that the enemy cannot detect a plane like this in the first place.
In the unlikely event they get lucky at shooting one down, there will be no human loss of life or captivity.
As you view the flightdeck crew signaling the plane, they are simply signaling the on-board cameras, who in turn are being manned by staff inside the command intelligence center (CIC)aboard the ship.
Also check out the short distance this plane needs for a takeoff.
Looks like mini stealth design. Nice to see top of ship. I did some work down in machine shop when it was still being built. They don't let me out of bowels of ships too often. So I only see lower areas.
God Bless him, & all of our fighting men & women.
Very deserving and courageous man.
Wonder if he gets hit for a haircut & shave when he's in line in the Chief's mess???
Brings back some memories, Did a lot of hours in them.. I think those clips were state side training... We didn't have doors on the slicks, And the last guy out turning around and closing the door is a tip off... When we came in to an LZ.. The skids would ''just'' about hit the ground and we were out....:xszpv:
I'm a retired career USAF fighter pilot and a new owner of a H-D 2015 Trike. I flew missions as a forward air controller out of Vietnam and also flew the F-111 out of Thailand. I can't wait for new adventures as I tour on my new TriGlide.
as you enjoy the trike, if the low-end torque isn't enough when riding 2-up; consider the S&S 510 gear cam. this solves 2 poblems. grea torque from 45 mph on up. and the cam shoes are eliminated. i've had one in my '09 t/g since it had 11k. never regreded it. a great upgrade.
in out monday ride club (because the bike shop is closed. we all say ALL twin cams need the gear cam.enjoy also you might like the .lift kit.
