tire milage

I have a Yamaha Roadstar Champion Trike and I was wondering about many miles you're getting from the front tire? I'm sure there's quite a range so just looking for an average. Ken

Do a search for "front tire" and read all the previous discussion for some interesting points. Most of our members prefer to put a rear motorcycle tire on the front wheel of the trike. It wears much longer and much better than the usual front tire, and works well because we no longer lean in corners, so don't need the shape of the traditional front tire. Most are reporting about 20,000 miles or more with this change but less than half of that if you stay with a "front" tire.
