I hate the way my clutch catches , (out at the very end of the handle). Not sure if it can be adjusted, So I am thinking of a rekluse clutch.

Has any one Installed a Reklus clutch? How are they ? Did you do it yourself or a dealer? (does not look too hard)

Interesting item. No mention of cost, but I could see the advantages in it, especially when hard cornering with a shift needed.

Clutch catches, That was one of the problems with my Ex-Tri-Glide..I solved it with a adjustable clutch lever....;Oberon Adjustable Lever....

Reklluse

Thanks NJtony. Mines a 2021, but the pricing would be about the same I would imagine. Saw this on Amazon. Is this the same thing?

I believe this is for a clutch cable shiftier , to make sure ask your dealer what the part number is ,(Rekluse site is kind confusing to me) mine was not the lower priced one.

The part number is 6205 radius X for a hydraulic clutch. I do not know what lever style you have. I heard they are flop flopping between cable shiftier and hydraulic

They went back to a cable clutch I believe this year ('21).

found a lower price rekluse clutch

found the 6205 for $854.00 with free shipping from cheapbikeparts.com

I am going to get this !!!!

Well I ordered a Rekiuse

Cheapbikeparts.com Had the 6205 part for $854 so I pulled the trigger and bought it. It should come around 12-25 (nice Christmas present for me) now I need a primary gasket and oil to complete the job.

Keep us posted as you progress with this. Pics are always nice and Merry Christmas to you. (Beer)

Well Cheapbikeparts contacted me to tell me the part is back ordered and gave no date when it will come in so I cancelled it and will wait till after the Holidays. From what they said in their message , was if I cancel I would have to go to the end of the line for the part. So I asked for a refund. How can they offer something they don't have in stock and they are back ordered? Bummer

I bought a rekluse clutch for $ 715 on ebay Getting it installed on the 17th of March. There is still another one on ebay for $750 I will not be able to take pictures because I will be at work when it is installed.

I was going sell the the bike but decided now is not the time to buy another bike

Clutch

Replaced my clutch control that the cable goes to from 21 degree to 18-degree release from Drag Specialties. Cost 174 dollars. Then bought the adjustable clutch and brake levers from JP cycles for 229 dollars. It was well worth the money. My hand can reach the handle without straining my knuckles. Did not know what I was going to do because I love to ride and wanted to keep the bike. I ride it whenever I can and with fuel prices going up it is economical on the pocketbook.

Unfortunately I have the hydraulic clutch, but I always wanted the Rekluse clutch . I had a Can Am before the Harley so it would almost like shifting that, except I have to down shift.

Smart move......But the days to buy a new bike are gone, At least for the foreseeable future ......Most motor sport companies are downsizing and cutting production so as to stop price cutting...And as for Harley to get rid of the over flow of use bikes sitting in dealers basements ...IE: If you wan't one you better preorder' Or take what ever happens to come in to the showroom ..

If you like your trike, You will LOVE IT with the Reckluse Clutch in the TRIKE

I liked the the Freewheeler , but I didn't care if I had to get rid of it . BUT NOW I LOVE THIS TRIKE and want to keep it now!!! It is so nice not to have to hold the clutch in when stopped and what is even nicer is that you don't have to ease the clutch out to start off. No worries about stalling , no worries that you release the clutch you pull the front wheel off the ground. (did both) You now can start and stop in first or second gear with out the clutch in.(do not start in third or you will have to get the clutch readjusted ) This is worth every dollar. Total cost was $$746 clutch 320 install $50 for the gaskets and oil But in the $320 he bleed the brakes and clutch for me .

The shop who did the clutch for me told me if it needs an adjustment, he will do it free.
