When I lived there in Fla, they were by the thousands. Had put a radiator net on you car so the LOVE BUGS would not clog up your radiator. They're just a big nuisance.

I guess they haven't gone away in the last 20 years, since.

If you've never had this kind of excitement in your life , don't know what your missing . Hell it's almost as fun as getting your pants leg hung in a grinder and it running ALL the way up !!!!

We lived just up the road from you . . . . in Kissimmee. Still have a billfold I bought at the Auburndale flea market. My first 40 years were spent in Iowa, so the weather was no surprise. I hated the heat and humidity, my wife loved it. Then came Charley, Francis, Ivan and Jeanne. My wife said "Get me the hell out of here." I always wanted to go "back home", so here we are. Granddaughter graduating from St Cloud High at the end of May, so we will be there. I'm already dreading the weather and I'm not even there yet!!!!!!

How about that! Small world applies. We ride over to St Cloud often, there's this very good Chinese/American Buffet, and just down the street, some of the best Catfish ever. Kissimmee, oh how it has changed from a sleeply cattle town when I was a kid to an active City since the arrival of Disney nearby. If you get any spare moments when in St Cloud, give me a ring and I'll buy coffee or your choice of beverage if I'm in town. 863-512-5644.

We fly in on a Thursday night, graduation is Friday, we leave Monday morning. Going to be a tight schedule with friends and ex co-workers to see. But, you never know. I have your number.
