Steering Stabilizer

I am thinking about getting a Steering Stabilizer. I have had my trike for 2 years and am happy with the handling and have not seen any need for a steering Stabilizer. But I think the Stabilizer would make a BIG difference if I have a front tire blow out at speed. What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks

You might be over thinking this. Not trying to say it wont happen, but I have ridden well over 300k miles almost 50k on my trike and in that 20+ yrs I have been riding, I have yet to have a front tire issue.

Also in that 20 yrs of all the friends I have ridden with and the miles they have ridden also none of them have had one either.

I also have been riding since 1956. Two wheels until 2011. I did lose a front tire once in that time. On two wheels, managed to ride it down from 65mph through a left curve with my 6 year old on the back. Don't see that a trike would be near as hard to handle.

good luck

I installed stabilzers on both my trikes (HD and Victory). I like the way it smoothes out the flop (fallaway) of the front end. I am probably using the wrong verbage to describe why I like the dynamic. It makes the radius of steering tension uniform. Dam, I am quitting before I dig a deeper hole!:Shrug:butt
