Am going to install one on my VTX 1300 this weekend. I can certainly make it work. But if anyone has already done this, I'm open to suggestions about location, and any info that will speed the job up. I got the relay kit, electrically, it looks like a turkey shoot.

Thanks,
Steve

Hmmmm,

I didn't think the mount would be too bad. But I didn't want to put it low, and putting it at the stock horn location would make it hit the fender if I completely compressed the forks. I ended up mounting it inside the left rear fender where it bolts to the frame. I'm not thrilled with that. Thinking most of the loud horn effect could be lost there. Because of that, I paralleled the stock horn in with the relay, giving me two horns. Because of the location, I had to run some wire from the forks all the way back to the rear fender. Relay screwed down nice and pretty on one of the battery cover screws.

I guess I'll just have to blast at someone and see if I get a reaction

It made mamma jump when she was in the garage and I blew it from the drive way.......

put one on my stallion now when people beep at me i blast them back its a revenge thing mine works in conjuntion with bike horn which is like a ford horn decible wise
