started on a new seat

I am looking to raise mine about 4" and got the bottom fabbed up in my shop yesterday before the game started. It's heading to the upholstery shop this morning and I am hoping they can turn it around early this week. The old one was in pretty rough shape once I got it opened up.

I got my custom seat back today and hope to ride in the morning. 5 Star did an exceptional job, at least in my book.

They did a great job. Looks like it was that way from the start. Is that the shop near Marsh Jr's house right on 518 that did the work?

They pretty much just sewed on a new skirt to my existing cover to make up for the 4 inches.
He cut the foam and then I took it back home to make the final measurements/fit/pictures. I want an entirely different seat on it, but that's a winter project and it's going for 97 degrees here this week, all week, all day, all again, lol.

I got some new bling on the air cleaner. It's a Cadillac reproduction from the 60's. I put a little shorter height air cleaner inside to give it a lower look. It's not for everybody, but I liked the metal work and chrome job. Got it from Jegs. I also acquired a new hauler for both trikes. It's a 26 foot V Nose (Covered Wagon brand) that was a 2016 sitting where the dealer wanted a 2017. He got right on the price and I got a deal. It's being painted inside this week, professionally. The bomber seat is what I hope to install later this year or early next year.

The paint is finished on the hauler, finally. We were supposed to be going to Beaumont for the rally there this weekend, but my wife isn't up to it. Next trip should be up to College Station on the 14th/15th for an event with my daughter's TAMU Gems event. I got a spot at Holiday RV Park up there for that weekend and hopefully the weather goddess will be kind to me then.
