I just put a pair of Zook's duals on and the engine won't rev above 3000rpm.
Don't know what i could have done that would make this happen. Has anyone had a problem like this after putting on different exhaust? It acts like it's in a safe mode. When the tac hits 3000 it cuts the engine off . If you hold the accelerator down it will just keep bouncing off 3000 rpm. Need some help .

All Stallions do that, it's a part of the Ford design. It's a safety feature to keep the engine from being over-revved and damaged. in park, or neutral, 3k and it hits the rev limiter. Most Ford vehicles (the newer ones anyways) have this integrated into the system.

THEREALTRIKKY is right. All Stallions have a rev limiter that doesn't allow revving the engine over 3K rpms while in park or neutral. The new exhaust system doesn't change anything that relates to that.

Thanks to you realtrikky and zook for the info. Haven't taken it out of the garage since I put the exhaust system on and was just revving it up to check the new duals. I was sure there wasn't anything I could have done but was just wondering to make sure. I know when you change pipes on the new harleys, you have to sometimes have them re tuned. Just got back from texas and Easter and everything else going on and thought i'd get them on and when this happened I thought i'd check with everyone. I will get it out today and give her the test.ha
Thanks again Zook for a quality set of duals.
