Hello all....I just found this forum and it has been interesting reading the comments. As I said in the title I am seriously thinking about buying a Stallion but I read where they have serious electrical problems because of rain. I read most of the comments and none said anything about that. Is it a concern or not? Thanks John

I don't know if would help but try typing it into the search feature?

Welcome Trikerchief. Can't answer about Stallion, though nobody at last years rally (11 Stallions) had any rain complaints. You may also want to check out trikes at Barnetts HD. They always have a pretty good selection of used ones when I pass through El Paso.

Hello and welcome. Boy you just missed a hell of a deal on E-Bay. Someone just auctioned a 2008 Stallion Silver in Arizona for 19.5k Only 15000 miles on it. Never seen one sell that low before.

To answer your question. NO STALLIONS DO NOT HAVE ELECTRICAL problems as a whole. Some of the first ones had teething issues some verious minor issues. Thoroughbred Motor Sports all ways took care of any issues. Late 2008 and newer have been very good. Yes there has been some individual issues but always repaired by TBMS. My wife has had 2 Stallions Her current one has 52,000 miles of trouble free miles. She would not sell it if someone offered her even a very good deal. She loves her ride. Most Stallions owners on here are the same way. There are only about 900 built so far. Ted

I've had my Stallion for four years and the only electrical problem I've ever had was the turn signal. The problem was when it rained it stopped working. I found out that the relay was on upside down and water got into the switch. After I took the relay off and turned it around I haven't had any problems since. I think the first owner must of replaced the relay and put it back on upside down which let water set in the prongs and then it would short out the relay. Overall I've been very happy with my Stallion.:10:

I started to say something about the upsidedown turn signal relay, and also I got the computer connection pulled closer, and placed tape on it to keep water out of it too ....

like message #5 & #6 said, the turn signal is the only electrical problem I have had also.
my stallion is an 09 and I rode thru a tropical storm a year or so back and that is when I lost the turn signal, I called TBMS and they told me about the possible problem and that is what it was and I put hot glue(using hot glue gun) into the the plug (which is upside down) and that took care of the problem, I have 49,900 miles on the trike.
