I surmise that I should word my post carefully, so here goes.
All of the ruckus about what Phil Robertson (Of Duck Dynasty fame) has said in his interview with QG Magazine is completely unfounded. Mr. Robertson said what he felt from his heart and owes no one an apology for his comments. He is entitled to speak what he believes and the A&E network should not do anything to Mr. Robertson.

I for one happens to agree with most all of what he said in his interview. Above and beyond that, it is very clear that the network is only interested in ratings and revenue from advertising. I've never been accused of being politically correct, very far from it. Mr. Robertson never said he hated or meant ill will towards anyone of any persuasion. He simply stated that he did not agree with that type of lifestyle. So at risk of having myself banned from this site, Ive posted my feelings on this matter with the most politically correct words I can muster.

IMHO we should all ban A&E from our tv's until such a time that the network comes to it's senses and brings Mr. Robertson back and makes him whole again financially. I choose not to get into an argument with the good folks on this site. So I won't be responding to any comments or questions regarding my views or feelings.

Glad Cracker Barrel wised up. The hypocrisy of this whole thing is mind numbing. "The Advocate" is a gay activist magazine that is an in your face gay rights advocate with several million subscribers. They just chose the Pope as the Man of the Year and will put him on the cover because of some of his recent comments about tolerance. I guess they are overlooking the simple fact that no matter what He says about that, He still has the exact same beliefs about sin as Phil does. Phil just worded them a little different and regular folks understand exactly what he meant. He is like Howard Stern that way. He just said what a lot of people are afraid to say, even though they agree with it. Phil didn't say anything different than Priests, Pastors, Reverends or Bishops say in front of millions of people every Sunday morning. He just used different wording. The liberal pc faction does not like to hear the bad side of their beliefs...like what really happens to a baby during an abortion. They also don't like to hear what really is involved with gay sex because it involves body parts being used for something they are not made to do. The truth, facts, and common sense voids all of their arguments, and they know it.

I'm glad Cracker Barrel has changed their position, it was the right thing to do. All these special interest groups trying to erode our beliefs and values are getting to be a little much. It seems everyone has an agenda and their hands out looking for anything they can get for nothing. Look at all the people on welfare, food stamps and Social Security, half shouldn't be getting any of this.
