how does sidecars handle in crosswinds.somedays its bad on a bike.the badlands is one place. 2nd is i 70 can be a pain.crosse if once with 70 mph winds, had people in cars that would pull in wayside with me betting when i would get blown off road,ha ha.made it to hutchinson ,kansas.al my arms could take.but back then it was just my old lady and me on a springer softtail loaded down. times are changing as i get older.

The heavier the machine, the easier to control in crosswinds.

A bike with a fairing and tourpak will also blow around as opposed to one without a windshield. Whichever you choose, make sure you have or get an E-Z Steer.

Like Jim said above, the extra weight seems to help it stick to the road in windy conditions. Never tried an ez steer, but that might also help?

Been riding a sidecar equipped Electra Glide for 20+ years and its nothing a person with average upper body strength couldn't handle.

Unless you're caught in hurricane, or tornado like winds for 500 miles of riding...:AGGHH:
