Before I spend 900 + I wonder those of you who have changed shocks ---( I have

never bottomed out. BUT - What is so bad - is the solid axel feel - tossing and bouncing, on the bumpy roads. so my question is : will new coil shock lesson that feeling of hard, bouncing about ? At times, it almost feel like we will be bounced off. Not so much as " up and down" but rather from "side to side". Thanks

We took my husband’s trike to Kerrville trip several years ago. It was a GL1800 Lehman Monarch II solid axle. We would switch off driving. NEVER did we get a side-to-side motion on that trike. And, just to add... except for going over a pretty big bump it was a comfortable ride for both passenger and driver.

My GL1800 MotorTrike Adventure kit with independent axle also has never given me a side-to-side motion and is also a very comfortable ride.

Hope he gets the issue resolved.

I too had a "Motor-Trike" (The good Old Days of Indep. Suspen.) Maybe this Tri-Glide is not "fixable" with Shocks.

Oh. I looked at your profile which stated that you had a GL1800 with Motor Trike rear end.

Thomas the shock change will make a difference. throw in the lift kit and you should be amazed. just my opinion
