Secrity Key light on on the dash

Just had the tg serviced for the 5,000 at a dealer, since then the security key light will stay on for a long time on the dash, the little red one. Is this normal, is there a way to make it stay off?

That drives me crazy also with my '10 TG. Dealer won't admit to nothing. In past, I have found if it stays on a lot, ignition switch might be issue.

My security light would stay on after I installed LED lights. I had to install a equalizer in the light circuit. That cured the problem. The LED lights have a lower resistance and it causes the security light to come on for some reason.

That happened to me when the battery got low on my security dongle (fob). Trike would intermittently start.

Did not think about the battery, will have to change that and see. Of course like everyone I believe batteries should last forever, its only been over a year!
