Well, I installed the rotor cover on my 08 Gl 1800 trike yesterday. Took my time and it took about two hours.Worst part of that job by far was finding the wiring harness plug to plug in to. I found it though, and everything works great. They are beautiful especially at nite and really draws a lot of attention. If I can be any help to anyone installing these, just let me know. thanks to all those who gave me their info.

We're all glad your install went well... It's always a good feeling when things like that come out the way you hope. Now you are ready to tackle the next project I'm sure..

Congrats!!!

Gold rush I enjoyed that project but now im thinking about raking my trike. Not real sure about that one lol. Looks simple enough, I think the worst part would be getting everything out of the way. Maybe someone who has done this might just give me some hints lol.

Putting a rake kit on is not a big problem. The big thing you will need is a manual so you have all the torque specks and the head tube socket. The rest is some metric wrenches sockets and some allen wrenches. I did my 1500 two weekends ago and it was the best thing I have done to my trike yet. As you taske it appart you may want to put nuts and bolts that go together in baggies to keep different areas seperated. Good luck when you do the swap power stearing is great.

Ive got the video shot and just need to edit in the audio. The fellow I was doing the rake for was in a rush so I just shot the video but planned to add the audio when I got time. I'll try to get it done ASAP. You can also do the rake using a Clymer Shop Service Manual too, well worth the investment.

I have some very good deals on rake kits for TrikeTalk.com members too BTW. ThumbUp
