Help - Can't Get Rotor Off Chrome Front Wheel.

When I had the CSC conversion done, I had a chrome front wheel installed.

I've pulled the wheel off to change the front tire and at the same time am installing Centramatic balancers. Everything has been going OK, but now I can't get the rotor (ABS side) off the wheel. The rotor will turn freely but it won't slide over the hub - it's like the outer lip of the hub is belled.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'd be real careful prying on anything there... That rotor will warp pretty easy. Have you tried lubing the area real well then applying outward pressure while pulling/rotating? If that doesn't work maybe a bit of torch heat but be very stingy with it. Too much heat will also warp the rotor.

GOOD LUCK !!! :xszpv:

Thanx Gold Rush for the suggestions - tried them but without success. As you said, I'm reluctant to be very aggressive.

So, I'll put it back together and get the professionals to deal with it at another time.

I've got some riding to do while it's warm and the sun is shining. :)
