Actually checking on this for a friend. The trunk open message won't go out even though the trunk is closed and latched. I'm going to give him your telephone number and let him talk with you direct. Thanks for the reply.

Must be something as simple as the sensor switch being loose. Or just slightly out of adjustment.

Hogcowboy is onto something. Switch either malfunctioning, or latch/door needs adjustment. Give us a ring at 800-331-0705 and ask for Mark. He can help diagnose and fix.
