In case you didn't know, there is a heavy duty sway bar available for the HT1800 and HT1800S kits. I don't know about the 1500 or other brands of bikes.
My trike was equipped with the standard sway bar. Unfortunately, I was told I had the Heavy Duty sway bar; a story I need not go into. Anyway, after four years I found this out and immediately ordered the Heavy Duty sway bar from Roadsmith for $99. This is the best money I have spent in a long time!
epper:
I live and ride in the Arkansas twisties and co-rider and I both heavy. (Details not important.)
The new sway bar dramatically reduced the body roll in curves allowing easier steering, better control, and higher speeds with comfort and safety.
I installed it in two hours start to finish with the aid of this excellent post:

The standard sway bar is 5/8" diameter and the HD is 3/4". If you want to really improve your Roadsmith's handling in the curves and twisties then give this a close look.
