<b><font color="Red"><a href="http://www.triketalk.com/forum/harley-trikes/18148.htm" target="_blank">HERE</a></font></b> is a recent thread on MT wheels. While you're waiting for some replies to your question, maybe something here might help. <img src="images/smilies/shrug.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Shrug" class="inlineimg" /> Hope you find what you need... <img src="images/smilies/thumbup.gif" border="0" alt="" title="ThumbUp" class="inlineimg" />

I know that the wheels are 4 x 4 1/4 but I don't know what the backspacing is. I would love to know my self as the chrome wheels that are on my Motor Trike are starting to show their age.

You know what, just because it's you.pepper I am taking off a wheel this week and am going to get those dimensions and post (based on my year of MT). <br />
As said previous, want to swap out rims and knowing specs helps to dial in on what suppliers are offering.<br />

Had a fellow interested in my rear tyre as I have no use for it. Turns out his Goldwing is a 16" on the front and a 15" on the back, he checked his owners manual and confirmed this. <br />
<br />
I would have thought that the rear tyre would be at least the same or larger???<img src="images/smilies/smiley confused.gif" border="0" alt="" title="confused" class="inlineimg" /> This was a 1200 MDL. 70es something. Seems weird to me any explanations out there???<br />
Take care. : All <img src="images/smilies/poof.gif" border="0" alt="" title="poof" class="inlineimg" /><img src="images/smilies/wave4.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wave4" class="inlineimg" /><br />

Headin to Yuma middle of Dec. Hope to see you all on the roads. If I happen to be in your neighborhood at that time, Cheryl and I would love to hook up for coffee, send me an email and let us know......<img src="images/smilies/thumbup.gif" border="0" alt="" title="ThumbUp" class="inlineimg" />

I got my wheels off eBay. Specs are: 15x7 American Racing Ventura Polished Wheel/Rim(s) 5x114.3 5-114.3 5x4.5 15-7 Sorry, it doesn't list backspacing. That is easy enough to measure. I found the backspacing on my wheels is 3.75". The original wheel are 4" I believe. Mine work great with the 215/60 tires, but it would be tight with the original 225/60 tires.
2008 GL1800 MT Adventure.

Thanks for the info rvance have been to busy to check the dimensions either working or out for a ride LOL. Will get to it though. There are two "honey do lists" in our house hold, hers and mine, guess who's gets theirs done first?(hint it isn't me):xzqxz:

Here are the MT rear wheel specs - Spyder 2+2 kit
Wheel size: 15 x 7
Offset: 4 1/2
LUGS: 5 lug on 4 1/2 / 5x114mm
and the backspacing / offset is critical, too much and it rubs the shock tower, too little and the tire rubs the fender well walls

Are you asking about their "standard" wheel, or their wheels in general. From what I see on their website, they have a HUGE selection of wheels from American Racing, Performance Machine, and others I'd say. If you click on this link and look where the wheel options are in black, on the right side you can click to see their wheels. Looks like they have about 20 different wheel options
