Reverse

I'm not sure if anyone does or not but if they do I would think it would probably cost as much as a mechanical reverse. Champion offers a mechanical reverse that is practically a direct bolt-on and works great.

I have the Trigg set up (HD Springer Classic)-Only challenge was putting an activation button on-(got one from HD)-and the reverse operates at really high RPM! You're either stopped or 60 mph. No in between. But I only use the reverse if I'm stuck in a tight spot, and for a short jolt backwards.

Might call most of the major trike companies, Champion, CSC, DFT, etc....sure someone can make it happen.
you didn't say what kit you have.

Harley made an electric reverse kit to fit 2-wheelers a few years ago. I don't think they had a lot of success with it from what I heard. The TG is electric, but it drives a ring gear on the rear pulley.

I'm running a AIM Mamba reverse. Very simular to the Champion reverse. Baker now has the F5R out that's the slickest reverse set up, but it's pricy. Henderson Harley is dealer for AIM -- 'Vegas & Red Rock may be too. I just like gears & being able to control the speed backwards with the throttle. The biggest complaints I've seen so far on the electric reverse set ups is they only have one speed & if you don't like that speed -- too bad. That & they seem to burn out the motors more often than most people think they should though they seem to be getting better for that problem.

What is the labor cost to install the AIM? I've read alot about the AIM product and I can do the work myself, but sometimes it is better to have an "expert" do the work should anything go wrong.

about 3 hrs labor, but it is really easy. great instructions. If you can turn a wrench do it yourself.
