Came home from a 1,300 mile trip and put the tri-glide up on the rack just to check it over. Found a stone through the final drive belt. It must be replaced. I know I need to remove the Primary outer and inner covers to access the drive gear for the belt. But, from that point, what needs to be removed to accomplish the task of replacing the drive belt?

Both the left rear tire and the body has to come off....How bad is the hole if its in the center of the belt you might not have to replace it....But if its on the edge of the belt it should be replace....
