Rear wheels lug nuts torque?

I do it caveman style......Tighten till they squeak....:NoJoke:...Been doing it that way all my lug nut tightening career........

I use 100 Ft Lbs of torque, and recheck in 50 miles

Any time I have the wheels off I clean all mating surfaces before putting the wheels back on to ensure equal torquing of the the nuts

I also use torque sticks backed up with a good torque wrench

I have had Snap on Tools torque sticks since the early 90s, they are pretty amazing

Many outlets are now available to purchase these tools, back in the early days not so much

Have a look here

In all the years I've been working with tools, I never knew these existed. Now I have to go and spend some money.
