Rear Airfoil

Does anyone have the Rear Airfoil on their Goldwing trike? I have been told that they make a lot of difference. I would like to get more opions before I buy one.

Just what airfoil and what difference are you speaking of? Are you referring to the one mounted on the bike's trunk or on the trike kit trunk like a Hannigan kit would have?

The one that I saw was a clear one that goes right behind the back seat. It is suppose to keep the wind off of the passanger.

If it is the one I had from Kuryakyn, I took it off right away. It through my bike around alot. It acted like a sail and when trucks went by, hold on. My wife said that it didn't really help her all that much. Now I was still using OEM windshield so I don't know if you used the special Kuryakyn one too if that would make a difference or not. All I know for us it was a lot of money with no good results. This was our experience and to each their own. But I like hearing both sides to everything when I'm trying to decide whether or not to make a big purchase. I hope this helps you.

This is also back when I had two wheels so what the effect would be on a trike I can't say.
