Give a shout out with you want to ride with someone in the Phoenix area. Although I would avoid this area now ~ heat is up with humidity at this time of the year!

Dennis, it looks like a GREAT ride. Been to most of the places you've posted pictures of so far and know that it's even more impressive in person than could possibly be shown in photos. That being said, keep'em coming!!

Having trouble with internet connections. Have come across CO on 160 and now across part of KS on 50. Will cross MO on 50. Now at Ottawa, KS. 50 put us on I-35 for a short while to Kansas City. Stopped here for night and will take 68 East to tie up with 50. Interstate into big city is a no go for me.

A few more shots from the last few days. We are not big on the picture thing. This is more pictures than we have ever taken. Did stay at a motel in Johnson, KS last night. The main drag was bigger than the motel, very wide roads out here.

A few more shots. Had half days of rain these past two days. Also a shot of rest stop named "hog". Fitting we thought.

Made it home.
Love the two lane trip. To bad as they update allot of sections they 4 lane it out around the small towns. Still beats just saddle time on interstate roads to get somewhere.
I guess I have more time now and a trip just to see where some roads go to and through are the way to go.
Sorry we are not into loads of pictures, just put your butt on the seat and ride, you will not be sorry!

Beautiful pictures ....
It blows my mind why people go to vacation to other Countries
when there are so many beautiful places to see here in the U.S.A. !
I will never get the chance to see all these places so I enjoy the
pictures a lot.
Thanks !

Glad you had a safe and fun trip Dennis! Been to most all those places but don't get tired of seeing them. The guy that owns the Pueblo,Co. stoe owns Hoosier HD in Elkart,In. where I got my bike. So how was it pulling the trailer? How did the bike run? We might be going out that way the 1st 2wks of Aug. Was there any trouble finding gas on 36 in west Kansas or on the east plains of Co.? Jim

Went well, not the best gas at times but we made it work.
Had some very, very hot days at times but that is part of it.
I got hooked on lazy two lane days. Now that I have more time, well that will be the way we travel. Must say I enjoyed 99% of it all.

Jim,
On the gas, I did fill up anytime I saw a station and I was at 1/2 or less. But really I did not have too. Eastern CO was the barest as far as stations.
The little Alma trailer was great. Liked having a cooler along with us. Made it nice to stop at any park or rest area along the way. Kept water and some small snacks in it along with my mandatory beer for when we stopped for the night.
