Rampage Lift & HST1800 RS

I have a Rampage lift that I have been hauling my bike in the pickup with for several years...but now that the bike is a trike, I need to modify the Rampage lift to haul a HST1800 Road Smith trike...if anyone on here has done this I would like some info, about what you did to the lift.

I'm glad to see you wondered over here from the 1800 forum. That's a good looking trike you have there.I have not started the lift mod yet, but will let you know what I come up with when I do.

Last time I had my rampage about 4 years ago, they had a trike addition that you could buy. I used it with both a 1500 GL and a Harley/Champion. The biggest issue is making sure the trike rear fits between your truck sides at the rear. Check with Rampage.

Thanks my plan is to have a local welder/fabricator custom make the addition part for the lift...I have measured the truck body & the trike & it will fit...

I did that first and it worked okay. Paid the money a year later for theirs it did work better then the one I made. They move the bottom rollers onto the trike addition allowing them to position the addition better.
