Has anyone installed a real antenna? I have a problem receiving stations unless I'm close to cities. When I had my Goldwing, I could pick them up a long way away, but it had a real antenna. If you have another suggestion, I'm open to that also. Thx Rick

I ran a hidden one under the front hood. Gets great reception because you can spread out the wires.

I installed a marine antenna because a"ground plane" is incorporated in the antenna. an abs or fiberglass body is a very poor ground plane. a steel body on a car or pickup is a ground plane. works on stronger stations up here in these mountains.
