Question on Aqua Shields

2007 Goldwing..........2015 CSC Cobra

I've had my trike about 2 months. I ordered without Aqua Shields. I have found that the passenger receives a lot of wind on their legs. Would the Aqua Shields block some of the wind? I have installed trike wings a couple days ago but not sure if they are going to help the passenger wind.

Thanks for the help.

Yes to both. The ground effects (Aqua Shields, Wing Guards, etc) will vastly reduce the passenger turbulence. The trike wing add to that protection quite a bit. I had Aqua Shields on my Motor Trike and now have Wing Guards on my Roadsmith. Would not be without them... :xszpv:

I have the MotorTrike with their running boards. Because the boards are weight bearing (they hold my big butt) there is significant frame work, beneath the MC frame, to hold them (& me) up. Consequently, I have to be careful of speed bumps & rapid rises or falls when entering a drive, or they will drag.

But, I do love the WIDE width, makes getting on/off easier, and protection/comfort they offer.

Aqua Shield it the name Motor Trike uses to identify the running boards sold as an optional item for their trike kits. Roadsmith calls theirs Wing Guards. These things are trike kit specific so this far down the road I doubt seriously if you will find a set for you '93 unless it is a more recent conversion. Give Roadsmith a call. They just might be able to help you. :xszpv::xszpv:
