Question for those using SoftBrakes’ reduced reach clutch lever.

Anyone using SoftBrakes’ reduced reach clutch lever for 2014 - 2016 Tri Glide with other than stock hand grips. My grips are 1.5 inch diameter and the clutch lever won't disengage the clutch. Talked to Rick at Softbrake and he said the lever is only made to work with the stock grip. Makes sense but the website doesn't mention anything about that.

I have the Softbrake clutch lever on my '15 with HD heated grips. The new lever works fine.
