OK, here we go. I am adding some LED lights to the rear of my trike. They (supposedly) function as run/stop/turn signal lights. I ran them to the rear using a factory made cable using five different colors of wire (red, white, green, black & yellow) and they are 22 awg. The cable is approx 6' long as it is routed through the trike and into the trunk. My problem is where the cable is tied into (junction strip with 8 connection points) all the contacts seem to work properly BUT at the other end of the wires it does some pretty strange things. Turn signals will work, stop lights work sometimes and the run or tail lights just flash four times then delay for a second and then flash again. WTF? Are my wires too small to carry the load? Is my ground wire too small? I am in need of some sage advice here. (Other than give up doing your own work) Thanks.

Any chance those bulbs/lights are Flasher strobe lights.......

Well their not supposed to be. Supposedly just tail light, brake light and turn signals. I can get the brake light and turn signal to work rather well but the tail light circuit wants to flash.

LED Lights

You may need a LED Flasher. This is for LED Turn Signals. On my 2017 it is located under the front panel below the windshield.
