Power Vision - Second guessing myself

A long story: I had the 103 rebuilt into a 113 with the intent of getting a dyno tune after break in. I initially thought (too late) that the dyno would not accommodate a wider Hannigan, but after measuring mine and the dyno (50 miles away), it does fit.
The build was done by HD, but their tech takes the bikes 40 miles from them to get dynoed at a Suzuki dealership. When he got there, the dyno was not functioning properly.
The tech asked if I wanted a Power Vision installed at cost, or go 120 miles a month from now for a different dyno.
I chose the PV, and here is my question. If I get a dyno in the future (which I think I will), is the PV useful at all for further tuning ? (I also have the SE tuner). It was a quick decision, now I'm wondering if it was a good one. They installed the wide band sensors to do the PV tune. The tech said the best running engine would be the dyno, but that the PV tune was "good".
My goal is a great running engine.
Your thoughts? Dyno?, keep PV?, dyno and sell PV?

The PV will work fine for any future tunes, however, they hosed you. The tune you have isn't what it could be if you have it tuned by someone who is good at what they do. Don't settle for 2nd best, a good tune is much more than just setting the VE tables and the AFR. The only problem you may have in the future is if the person who is tuning it doesn't know the PV, some tuners only use certain products.

If you want the best running engine then wait until the dyno is functioning and have a good tech tune it. No substitute for a good job
