Hooking up power vision

I am going to Larrys sports center on Friday the 13 th, about a three hour ride. I would like to hook up power vision to compare before and after and also maybe assist the tuner with tuning. Does this sound like a good ideal, and is it hard to do. I did download tunes but never had it hooked up whiling riding. Thanks

Does Larrys know your going to have them tune with a PV? If they've never tuned with one it could get interesting.

Did you have to change anything from the preloaded tune that you received from fuel moto ?

I found the Fuel Moto tune maps to still run a little lean. If you load their map as the Basic Tune map and run an auto tune on that one, and then after flashing that session (save in a specific numbered place - you will be ask where), load it again and run another Basic tune session and save it on top of the first one. Going 100 miles, you will be able to run several tune sessions and load them on top of each other (Dynojet recommended procedure) you should end up with a pretty close to ideal tune.

The process sound complicated but in fact is rather a simple process once you do one or two tune sessions. I have the PV on both of my bikes and have them running awesome, both power and fuel mileage. The real trick then is to leave the damn thing alone!!! I have a couple of friends that I have taught them how to run a tune session and how to ride the bike while in the process, but am struggling with convincing them to leave well enough alone when the bike is running/performing to their liking!!

Good luck, you have a great tuner!!:pepper:
