Wow...I know I posted to this thread before but I'll be darned if I can find it!!! Yes I Now have a Yamaha Roadstar 1700 EFI/Motor Trike...still trying to feel things out and get comfortable with the whole Trike thing...so I cautiously only put 2,301 miles on it in my first 5 weeks of ownership!

. You really should put a little more effort into getting comfortable with the trike, Doc. I just don't understand how you expect to feel at home on it if you never ride........ LOL! looking at picking up a raider and triking it myself. Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise. ol newby

depends where your creek is with the rains we have had in some places.
I have a 05 venture with a tri-wing kit, did it myself, so its the way I want it.
Have a 2008 Venture that I had triked with a tri-wing kit.

Took your advise Nana and rode it today (it was just a little rainy out)! I know y'all told me when I signed onto TT but I really wish I had done this long ago!!! My God what an incredible rush I get from this Trike...people waving, thumbs up, smiling and telling me "that is so cool"; makes me feel like a kid again!

Yours is the second that I have seen or heard of :Shrug: Seems to be a good kit but they only made them for a short time. Maybe they will start again.

Hi. Have an XS1100 Maxim trike(I think it's known as an XJ1100 in the US).
We've just traded in the wife's trike (C50/Lehmann Tramp) for an 08 Roadstar/Champion with a Hoppe Quadzilla fairing... time to start modding....

i have vstar 1100 silverado with voyager kit and batwing. some other add ons. really like the ride and deffinately a yamaha man. BE SAFE/ RIDE SAFE spring is here i think !!
Have an 07 venture trike with Hannigan trike kit.
2001 road star, just triked with a champion kit. still trying to work out the headshake problem.
2008 Yamaha VStar 1300 with a Voyager. Took a while to balance it and didn't get the handling I wanted until I changed out the tires (mostly the mounting a rear tire with tread reversed on the front and the car tire on the back helped stability).
'99 yamaha rsv motor trike. how many rsv's here that have this conversion? i understand that motor trike only made this kit for a short time.

I have a 2006 RTSD with a Hannigan conversion. Had it for three years and love it. It took second place in the Star Days bike show in Billings Mt two years ago.
good choice.
As of wednesday 7/13/11 I will be the proud owner of a 99 Yamaha Royal Star Venture M/T. Right now I have 99 RSV with voyager kit.
Have an 09 RSV trike with Hannigan conversion.
