Hey! Anyone out there swapped out their stock front rotors for polished stainless steel ones?
I have a chrome front wheel and most everything else chromed by Willy Shiny (except the rotors) on my 2021 Tri-Glide.
I've been told NOT to do chrome rotors because they won't hold up - and to go with highly polished stainless steel floating rotors.
Anyone in trike land know where I can get highly polished stainless steel rotors that will look good with my Willy Shiny chrome while holding up properly?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much - Ride and Have Fun!

Yes… check with Willy Shiny!
I got mine from him, along with his custom rotor bolt cover/wheel spacers too!
(FYI: I had my wheels chrome powder coated… I may send him my other set to chrome next year).
But yes… he will exchange your stock floating rotors for polished ones.

I haven't personally made the switch, but I've heard from other riders that polished stainless steel floating rotors are the way to go for both durability and matching that chrome look. They hold up a lot better than chrome, especially with the extra weight on a trike. Check out Lyndall Brakes or EBC for polished options they make quality stuff that should complement your Willy Shiny setup nicely. Ride safe!
