Worth a minute and a half of your time. If it wasn't on video everyone would swear he didn't have a gun, and it was planted. If he died, the perp's parents would sue the PD and win. The police officers would either be suspended or forced to resign. The Chief would resign; there would be more intense ban-gun talk, and he would be touted by his boys as a hero.

A very disturbing video. Anyway, he had plenty of opportunity to surrender.

Is there a story for this. Why were the cops after him? Is BLM stirring up **** (oops I can't use that naughty word) about it? If so they are going to look stupid on this case.

I'm not sure as a police officer you would stand in the open when ordering an armed suspect to get to his knees. While it is true most bad guys can't shoot worth a crap, why would you take that risk. Stay behind the cover of your squad and give him the orders.

When he did decide to draw on them their instincts were to seek cover, but of course it was too late.

It won't matter if this shooting is on video or not. The critics will come up with all kinds of crap. Why didn't they just shoot the gun out of his hand? Why didn't they tas him before he had the chance to draw the gun? How did they know the gun was actually real? Why didn't they give him first aid faster?

And who says there won't be a lawsuit? Are you kidding me, of course there will be, especially if he has any type of permanent disability. His attorneys will sue for 10 million and the insurance carrier will offer $100,000 and they will jump all over it. So this scrumbag just made around $75,000 for his trouble.

But he did try. At one point he shoots himself. Note the red mist flying up towards the wall. To bad he didn't do it right the first time.
