Support the Police

Cops lives matter they protect and serve all of us and I appreciate their work in the community.

I wonder who those that criticize the police call when they have a problem. If they have an accident, get robbed, have their home broken into, have their trike stolen, get mugged, who do they call? There was a couple a few days ago that wouldn't sit next to a table of policemen eating lunch. Who do they call when something bad happens? Wouldn't it be ironic if they got robbed, called the police and one of those guys showed up? I would hope they would feel as foolish as they acted if that actually happened.

I'm pretty lucky. I have two police officers in my neighborhood. One right across the street and the other 4 doors north of me. Things stay pretty quiet. ThumbUp

I tend to think the ones that fear or dislike the police might already be on the wrong side of the law.

How many of those that were shot by the police started out doing something that brought on the cop's attention in the first place? If they'd get the message to not attract the cop's attention, the cop's wouldn't bother them.

Don't recall the author, but he was absolutely correct when he said, "A society that makes war against the Police, needs to make friends with the criminals".

3 more officers die Sunday AM

Just saw where 3 more officers were murdered in Baton Rouge this morning by a black guy, of course. And our cowardly, sorry excuse for a president won't tell the black lives matter clowns to knock it the hell off!

During the ?Ferguson? debacle the black lives matter crowd marched thru the streets shouting: "What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want em? NOW!", Obama invites them to the White House. He does more to fan the flames of racism than anybody else in the country.

Then there was the "Pigs in a blanket-fry 'em like bacon". But, today, Obama says "to tone done the inflammatory rhetoric". He was very silent on that matter when the chanting and burning was occurring.
When the hell did the Police become the enemy? If we do not support all first responders, Medics, Paramedics, Fire service and Police, God help us all !!

The one thing we have going in lessening the frequency of these attacks on our society are that the demented perps are quickly put down for their well deserved & permanent "Dirt Nap" immediately after their misdeeds.
That fact might sway someone that is not a full blown lunatic, hopefully...

There is no getting around it, Obama should be brought up on charges of inciting riots and murder. But because he's half black it would be politically incorrect to do so. What a rotten country this has turned into.

Put yourself in their place

We expect them to be perfect, but they're human, the two are mutually exclusive. They can no more be perfect, than you or I, The majority are trying to do a very difficult job, in increasingly dangerous conditions, and the rest of us should be more appreciative. If you don't approve, maybe you should try doing it yourself.

Question.....If 75% of murders had blue eyes, shouldn't 75% of folks in jail for murder have blue eyes? If 65% of kidnappers are read red heads, shouldn't 65% of kidnappers in jail have red heads? If African Americans commit 65% of the crimes in the US, ( and I'm not saying that percentage is right or wrong) shouldn't 65% of inmates in prisons be African Americans?

How is a higher percentage of African Americans in jail considered discrimination if, in fact, African Americans do indeed commit a higher percentage of crime? I've never had that reasonably explained to me.
