One of my least favorite places to be...and I had one behind me, and another one tail-gating the Longistics truck.

Crossing the Mississippi River, leaving Arkansas for Tennessee.

We were in Tennessee for about 20 minutes...

...before crossing into Mississippi! 5 minutes after being in Mississippi...

...we got off the interstate and took back roads the rest of the way home.

11,500 miles later, we are back in our driveway.

After getting the TG unpacked. I tucked it into the shed. Will be doing a well deserved fluid change before riding it again.

It was a great trip, packed with memories, met some great folks, and it will take some time to digest everything we saw.

I am going to try and make a map, showing the roads traveled, by day.

We were gone 50 days. This trip we spent a lot more time visiting family and friends than on previous trips. Out of the 50 days we have only traveled 35 of them (plus one full day riding around GJ with Fuzzy, and a half of a day with Trent & Barbara in Idaho).

Our mileage traveled is 11,543 miles...about an average of 320 miles per day. Some days were 500 miles or more. Other days, more sight seeing, were less than 200.

It's been a blast! Thank you all for riding along with us.

Kevin

Any idea when and where we are going next?:)

This has been a true highlight following along on your trip. I can't imagine the time you spent sorting and posting pictures let alone the daily written journal. You and Mary deserve a big hand for all the enjoyment you so willingly shared:clapping:

Thank you Kevin and Mary. As stated the trip was memorable for all of us getting all the pictures. Now rest and get back to work.

Many thanks to both of you for a very enjoyable trip, it really felt like we were riding along. ThumbUp

Glad you and Mary are home safely. What a trip. It was like watching a good movie, knowing it would end. Waiting now for the release of the next movie. Jim

absolutely enjoyed YOUR trip lol. I will probably look at it again. Hopefully i will have my own trike by the first of the year....spend some time making sure i can ride it lol, and then i hope to get some trips under my wheels. it will be after i retire before i could take 50 days and just ride like you guys did, but that just gives me something to dream about as i spend this part of my life working spreadsheets....

i wish you and Mary many more fabulous miles and i hope you document them right here on the site. :):pepper:

Sorry for being absent from this thread for the last 10 days. It was quite a load off my mind when I finally got done posting up everything out of my ride journal and going thru the 18,000+ pictures Mary took!

I just needed a break. lol

No doubt, I would like to be back on the road...I could live on the road, but Mary likes her nest, and, while I can do a great deal of my work from the road, I can't do all of it.

After the first of the year we will start thinking about what 2016 holds! :)

Thank you so very much for all the encouraging comments.

It was a fantastic trip and we're glad you enjoyed riding along!

If you have not read our other Ride Reports, here is one where we went to the Arctic Circle and back-

Hi Kevin,

Probably asking a lot; is there anyway you can post up the route you took on this ride? This w. as definitely some beautiful country that you rode through.

In another week or two I am going to try and get a coherent map of our travels reduced to a few jpgs and post them up.

Kevin

Kevin, I read each of the maps just as I did you journal earlier. What a fantastic trip, I hope to be on a few of the roads you and Mary were on next year.

Again, thanks for all your hard work putting all of this together for us to enjoy. DJ

You always seem to stick to the SE section of BC. If you haven't done it before, you missed a nice highway through the Fraser Canyon. It's straight south from Cache Creek. Almost as impressive as the road from Banff to Jasper. Next time you come to BC don't miss it, you'll be glad you did.

If you rode it in the past, disregard this message, it will self destruct in 3 mins.

Thank you! :)

In 2013 we took 99 all the way from Cache Creek to Vancouver. Looks like for Fraser Canyon we can turn off the 99 onto the 12. We'll hit that on the next trip up that way. ThumbUp
