I ordered a set of Goldstrike Passenger Comfort Pegs and they will not work on a CSC trike. I had called Will at CSC befoe I ordered them and he said he had an adapter kit for them. I came to find he had confused the passenger footpegs with the driver footpegs which is what the adapter is for. The issue as I see it is that there is a huge bolt head under that covering where the plate fastens that is obviously part of the CSC trike.

I called Kuryakyn on their Omini Passenger footboards and they seem to think that these will work on my trike. Has anyone used these on a trike similar to my 2018 GL1800 CSC trike? I am trying to avoid ordering the wrong thing again.

Thanks in advance for everyone's input.

Fred

I have a 2021 CSC conversion. The Omni floorboards will only work if you use risers as well. The Omni floorboards by themselves will hit the fiberglass body near the exhaust. You need to also use the Show Chrome risers and raise them up. I use the lowest raised location and it clears the fiberglass body. Here is a link to the risers.... Show Chrome 52-961E Goldwing Passenger Floorboard Riser Set

You can seen the risers in my pic below. You can also see where the rear portion of the floorboard would hit the fiberglass body near the exhaust without the riser.

I'm curious, what is this adapter kit that CSC sells for the driver pegs and what does it accomplish?

If you remove that cover where they are to attach, there is a big bolt from the CSC chassis. I could not figure a way around that. That said, I have seen some 2018 and newer trikes with them. Owners said their integrator installed them.

Agree with sticksfgt. My understanding is that there is a post on the back of the gold strike plate that recesses into the swingarm shaft to give strength to the peg setup. I think the swingarm shaft is hollow on the original goldwing and allows the peg post to be installed. On the CSC conversion, that shaft is replaced with a CSC shaft and bolts, and they are solid and do not allow for the peg post.

Some other conversion kits do not use a solid shaft and those pegs will work fine. That is why gold strike lists which conversions work, and which do not work on their website (shown below).
