Our Cat has to share Breakfast every mornin'....

We have a pack of 5 Racoons that come up to our House every mornin' to share food with our cat. Sometimes all are there, or 2 or 3 or just singles. Here's the cat "sharing"......

.....and a Racoon wantin' in the back door......

...pretty cute, and generally harmless, but can be very vicious if They feel provoked or threatened.....

They can be friendly when they get to know you. We have a raccoon rescue near my house.

Very cute, but can be pests too! We had to have about 8 of them live-trapped and moved as they were becoming very possessive of our property, even to wandering around in broad daylight with us outside. Made me nervous for the pre-schooler I was babysitting for a daughter at the time!

Got to be careful with the kids. They can be rabid. The media have made them to be cute and they are but they are still a wild animal.
