As bad as they are at least it is a show kinda about bikes, but mostly about a disfunkunal family.I wish someone would sell the travel channel a trike touring show.It would have to be better than MAN VERSES FOOD.

Ummmmm...I'll bet anything that Paul Sr had an "Idear" and figured out how to become even Richer by Screwing the Lender along with the Public!

Doc

Say anything you want; But OCC Did more for bike sales, and got more non riders interested in bikes, all kinds of bikes, in one season than all the bike manufacturers could have managed with all their advertising budgets combined.ThumbUp

What PJD & OCC build just resembles a motorcycle, they build lobby bikes. Bikes for corporate America to show in their lobby, in my world it has to function 1st and be pretty 2nd. I'd love to see both shops build bikes and then take a 3,000+ mile round trip and see who ends up on a trailer.

"Lobby bikes".....That's an excellent description! ThumbUp Absolutely agree about Function Before Form. My favorite builder, "Indian Larry" *R.I.P.*, had the ability to incorporate Function & Form right out of the gate. Stock rake, no fat tire, rideable and manueverable, plus class act aesthetics. I also agree with Shimpy that 3,000 miles on any bike can be grueling, but wouldn't be anything wrong with builders competing in a good, solid shakedown run......

That biker build off winner was utterly rediculous-unrideable and goofey! The exhaust came out right in the face of the would be rider, and you would have to be an Ethiopian midget to ride the sumb!tch. At 6'5" and 340 lbs-I would probably have to have that tiny seat surgically removed from my azz if I sat on it!:Trike1::AGGHH:

Hadn't looked at all the detailing before, but went back and you're right.....those exhausts would be BRUTAL on a rider! Just out of curiosity, did they fire-up both bikes or no ? Paul, Jr.'s offering looks more like an art piece, altho' I personally wouldn't even want it in a lobby........:laugh::laugh:

obviously, the fix was in for junior from the beginning...i read that he was the last one to "agree" to do the build-off...i felt like the parts of the show not showing jessie building his bike were a complete and total waste of my time. ill never watch another episode...period. as for the headquarters...who cares??;)

I just saw a commercial showing SR and JR coming together again for some remake of an old bike. Discovery channel in a week or two.

Rumor: I heard it will be some kind of supernatural theme. Indian Larry, as a ghostly image, will keep moving parts around during the commercials and Sr will blame JR and vice versa. Mikey will see the ghost and drop dead from a massive heart attack. :D :D

Well, I was just at Orange County Choppers last week and saw Paul Sr. they currently have a big building project going on there. They are building an attached cafe so I'm not real sure anyone is going to foreclose on anything. Why would they be adding on to the building if it was about to be foreclosed? Drama that's what sells, so they have to create some sort of drama to keep the show going!!

Just my thoughts!

Enjoy and Ride Safe!

Wonder if it was all drama, or Sr downplaying things to stiff Jr in a settlement? Friends and family tend to be forgotten when there's big bucks involved, and that show HAD to have brought in big bucks - just look at the huge, fancy houses those three were able to build! They didn't get that from selling bikes, I'll bet! ;)
