They built that a few years ago, On their TV show.. Really a great idea and i'm surprised more manufactures haven't tried to mainstream them.. I guess the cost would be one reason..
 
The main reason these designs are not more mainstream is at least twofold.
1 is cost, & 2 is general liability for the builder.
I have 1st hand knowledge of the myriad of issues in being able to find a commercially available handicapped accessible trike to own/ride.
There have been several startups that tried offering a trike for the handicapped, only to run into governmental roadblocks. There is also the litigious nature of a few people trying to get money for potential or real design engineering oversights as a result stemming from their specific needs.

OCC did a real nice job designing & fabricating this trike. I can only imagine the cost!
