I wonder if I'm the only one who has done this; I came back from a 200 mile ride and after cleaning the bugs off, just sat back a looked at the trike for a while just admiring the machine. It's my first bike/trike in many years and so far am having a great time with it. Sitting on the ground staring at a motorcycle must seem strange to my neighbor!

For some, motorcycling is a "hobby" or simply a form of "recreation". For others, it's a "passion". I'd say your behavior falls into the "motorcycling passion" category and that's a very gratifying level of dedication ThumbUp

Enjoy and Ride Safe......

Sounds normal to me. You can see me many times sitting looking at my Trike.

You are normal. I have a trike sitting in my garage waiting for the warmer weather. I go out there and clean her again and again and stare and dream and drool. Some might call me crazy, I call it love...trike love.

Every time I walk past our trike thru the garage, to the mailbox, to take out the garbage, to go to the neighbors - I think about all the great trips we've had and all the wonderful ones to come, and grin like an idiot. Who cares what the neighbors think? A couple of them ride, so they'd understand. Those who don't, don't matter . . .

The behavior of which you speak is not only normal, but among the participants of this forum not to act as you describe would be abnormal, and cause for concern.

When ever I park the trike no matter where ,I look back at sometime 3or4 times .right now parked in front of my car I look at it every night when I drive in. I tell it don't worry it won't be long now.

Keep mine parked inside my store outside my office door. Warmer and cleaner in the store than out in a cold warehouse. I get to look and talk to it every day letting her know it won't be long til we'll be on the road again! You are very normal !

OK - I admit it - I still smoke. But I never smoke indoors. So after dinner I enjoy a postprandial cigarette - outside, in the garage, with my mistress, a gorgeous 2006 Titanium WingSmith. I swing a leg over, sit comfortably in the saddle, leaning against the backrest and chat with her about the rides we will take together this spring, summer and fall.

Actually, my daughter says the smoke is just an excuse to be out there with her because she won't let her in the house!
