no rear brakes!

I have a 2012 Triglide. I just had the 10000 mile service done last week. I have rode it a few times since then but today I stepped on the rear brakes to stop and the pedal went clear to the flooboards. Any ideas what it is before I take it back to the dealer in the morning? Has anyone else had this happen to them.

there was a recall for the brake switch don't know if it applies to yours

It's possible the dealer did the brake switch recall during the service and did not bleed the rear brakes properly. A call to the dealer is definitely in order.

Since you just had a dealer service your bike, I'd take it back in and hotly protest about the screwup that could have gotten you killed.

When they replaced my brake switch, the first thing I did was take it out to their parking lot and test both brakes. What a suprise (at least to them) that rear went right to floor. They bled it out properly while I waited and glared.

HD is only paying the dealers soo much so the dealers are cutting corners and not bleeding the brakes. M3 and I both had the same problem.

I have heard this problem many times owners having to go back and get the brakes bled on CVO bikes so it seems to be a common occurance with the last two years of production. That and the bad regulators.
