Phoned dealer today about ride seemed very hard, they said to let some air out,but there was no air in them, will it do any harm to ride to the dealer, thanks

You can put air in them if they are not ruined. Remove right side cover air valve is in the top left side use hand pump to fill it doesn't take much do not use air compressor. check owners manual should be OK though. call dealer and let him know. Fred

If you used a tire air gauge to check it you might of let the air out yourself... For the air shock you need to use a No-loss air gauge..AKA Suspension Air Pump..

But take it back to the dealer ,Just in case you do have a leak...

If you had no air don't worry you just did not have any pre-load. The oil in the shock still did what it was designed to do. If the shocks are dry of any oil then they should be good.

Or you can go to no air shock and get the ones that Kevin at DK custom products sells, I'm thinking of them since I lost 20lbs of air in 4 days, my road king shocks never lose air but the triglide does, will have to take a look at it, even over the whole winter I only lose 5lbs in the road king, must be a better shock built in 2002 than now.

All for now Trampas

I got a harley pump and put 30lbs in it and lost 5lbs in a day,i went to harley dealer they said they cannot find a leak, back from dealer 3 days and no leak, happy days:)
