New Trike

Well dont know if i did the right thing or not,but today the wife and I rode up to the Piqua HD shop because this is the weekend for the Piqua Bikefest. Was looking at a 17 Tri Glide when the salesman who sold me my 16 tri walked up and said ,so ya ready to trade.I told him I just got this one in April of this year then I said sure all depends on how bad you want to sell a new bike because i dont have to buy one. Well they must have wanted to sell one awfully bad,because i cut them a check for a grand and walked out with a black 17.Well not in my hand we go back Sunday for the paper work,it was a mad house there today,so i will keep you informed on my thoughts next week.

My wife and I were shocked but that is the third bike i have purchased there and i have sent at least a dozen folks there that have bought new bikes. The sales manager said he was under pressure to sell X amount of bikes this weekend so lucky me,this happens like never to me.

I would think most dealers would be asking 4-5 grand difference between a used 2016 and a new 2017 considering you can get a brand new 2016 for 2-3 grand less than a new 2017 M8 right now. You got a killer deal. Let us know how you like it compared to your 2016.

4 grand is about were they started at ,but keep in mind they have a 28% mark up on the higher end bikes so you are looking at around 9 grand profit on the trikes and SE bikes so they have wiggle room if they want.
