New to triking.

Hi guys. I am new to trikeing and I recently bought a Lehman trike. So far I have only riden it around the block, but I intend to really get into it as soon as the weather gets warmer.( I live in Canada so you can immagine how cold it gets here in Edmonton.) When I rode it after it was triked I found that the seat and hand grip warmers, as well as the GPS was not working. I have to return the trike to the installer to get this fixed.
Has anybody else had this experience?.......Mike.

Welcome Mike and greetings from Long Island. Don't worry, your 1 week of summer will be along in just 3 months (nice mall in town BTW).

Hi guys. Thanks for the welcome. Yes I have to take my trike back to the converter. It's about a hundred miles at a place called "Pidgeon Lake" I'm waiting for a warm day,and I am taking the country route, otherwise I would have to ride down the Edmonton to Calgary highway, which is a nightmare, and nothing but a racetrack. It is full of trackter trailers, and lunatics speeding in cars.
I am used to riding sidecar outfits,so it is easy with the trike.I had a Champion Escort on my 2007 Wing. My converter gave me 5 grand as a trade so that was great. Not many trikes arround this neck of the woods. Not like there seems to be in the Southern States.I have learned a lot from reading the threads on this forum.I even asked my installer to put a MPA on the front of my trike. Thanks a lot for all I have learned over the winter.......Mike.

Welcome aboard Mikem from Utah! I just gave in and went trike a little over a year ago when I turned 70. Only regret is that I didn't do it 10 years earlier. My challenges with arthritis made my last few years on that big HD Ultra a real chore.
