Here's the wheel I finally decided on for our trike. Going to order the Intro Rockmans tomorrow,in a 4x100 bolt circle,17x7 sizing and +40mm offset. Tires are most likely going to be Michelin Pilot Sports in a 205/50/17 size.

Our Street Glide already has chrome H-D Reaper wheels on it so I don't plan to change the 18x3.5 front. Here's what the front end of our trike will look like, minus the caliper covers. (removed the covers and sold them to a friend with a 2013 Ultra)

What wheels and tires are you folks using on your trikes? Post some photos and let's see them.

The tires are low profiles? How or will that change your ride comfort?

Hannigan told me the standard wheel & tire combo on the Transformer is now a 17x7 wheel and 205/45/17 tire. Only difference between a 205/45/17 and a 205/50/17 is overall tire height. Former is 24.4" tall and the latter size is 25.1". Ride quality should be pretty good, especially with the taller 205/50.

Our new wheels are supposed to be delivered today, via UPS. Have a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S III's waiting at my local Discount Tire for them.
C'mon,Big Brown!

Will do. Just got back from the tire shop but will take some photos, soon.

That's a pretty healthy tire you're running there,Rob. Snug fit? My rear wheels are 17x7's with +40mm offset. Tires are 205/50/17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S III's. It's very possible a 225/50/17 will fit our trike but until I see our rolling stock mounted on it,I just won't know how much bigger a tire will fit.
