New in Citrus Springs, Fl

Welcome to TrikeTalk Mike. Glad to have you here.

As far as the trunk, you have a couple choices. There is the Kuryakyn trunk relocater kit and is part number 6767 or alternate is 485246. Looks like it will relocate the trunk up to 4" back. Another kit is made by Traxxion Dynamics but is a bit more expensive but Max, the owner does sweat the details so I'm sure it will be a quality product.

I am not aware of any kits to relocate the controls unfortunately. I do know some switch to heel toe shifters but not sure if that will help out. Many will add foot pegs out front so they can stretch out as needed and there are several choices for those.

With seats, be ready to open up your wallet as it's not going to be cheap. You will have to go the custom seat route. One that comes to mind is Ultimate Seats and they have the Tall Boy option. That would probably work for you. Other choices are Russell Daylong and they customize seat for you.

Wingsoft will too but not a lot of info on there site anymore. And another popular seat customizer is Tom Simmons down in Arkansas. All seem to have decent reviews but you need to research the different choices. It at least gives you somewhere to start.

Welcome Mike!

What trike kit do you have?

When I was riding on two wheels, I had Russell Day Long build my saddle so I sat higher by 1 inch, and back 1 inch. When I had the saddle adjusted for the trike kit, I had Russell Day Long rebuild the saddle so I now sat up 2 inches higher, and back 2 inchs, both adjustments giving me additional leg room.

The CSC Encore kit moves the tour pack back by and inch and a half. This gives your passenger additional room. If you go with a Russell Day Long Saddle, have them build your saddle an inch and a half longer than stock, avoiding the gap that is created when the tour pack is moved back an inch and a half.

I am not familiar with other trike manufacturer builds but others on this board may be able to help you out.

Welcome Mike from SW Florida! I have a good friend that lives just east of Ocala and rides his HD Trike daily. He gets out early for most of his riding and claims he spots black bear every week. Sounds like you will have some great riding opportunity in that part of FL.

Thanks for all the replies, i found a machinist that can carefully work on my shift levers (bend them outwards so i can reach the Arms) and i found a guy to can work on the foam to set me back on the seat and i have the parts coming in to move the trunk back on my trike...

thanks Mike
