I just installed the Clutch-Wiz on my '12 TG 4 weeks ago and a week later I bought a '14 TG(I got a great re-offer from my dealer).

I don't like the hyd. clutch - way to hard. Does anyone know if the hyd. clutch/lever can be lightened up or easier to engage???

I did the Chicago Toys For Tots parade last Sunday and my hand got a bit tired.

Service manager this one came in correctly - no recall needed.
It is much harder to squeeze then my '12 TG even without the Clutch-Wiz.

I guess I shouldn't have said "hard" - maybe "takes more effort" to squeeze. My '12 I could squeeze with 3 fingers - then with the Clutch-Wiz only 1 to 2 fingers. All fingers on the '14.
I was just looking to see if there was a way to reduce the pull on a hyd. clutch.

I'll ask the dealer.

Did you find any solutions for the 2014 clutch pull. I rode one today for a good 30 miles and my hand was really hurting when I got back. The lever is further out than my 12, but trying to hold it at a light was making it hurt a lot.

FWIW The clutch on my 2014 Tri Glide is easier to pull than the hydraulic on my 1983 FXDG.
I can easily 2 finger it.

You might ask about the Screamin' Eagle twin cam performance assist and slip (A&S) Clutch kit.
37000026 Reduces hand pull effort by over 1 lb. ..... but I am not sure WHAT they are comparing that to.
Fits 2014 Touring models with hydraulic clutch.

Gary I don't know how many miles you have on yours but mine seems to have gotten easier or I just got use to it.

Hey GARYD,
I agree that the hydraulic clutch does require more effort compared to the cable. This has been a common observation among many and unfortunately I have not heard of a fix/solution. No adjustment on the hydraulic version. It is what it is. :(

When I traded in my '08 Electra Glide for a '09 CVO Ultra I noticed the difference in clutch operation immediately. They are a pain especially in stop and go traffic. I guess my hand has gotten conditioned but I know what you mean.

I agree my '14' clutch pulls much harder then my '07' Ultra with cable. I thought it was just me until I've been reading numerous places stating the Hyd. Clutch does pull harder. ;)

Just got my '14 back after getting the clutch recall done. One of the first things I noticed is how easy it is to pull...but then I remembered I've been spending a lot of time on the Sporty that has a E1 clutch with a 25% stronger spring.

So, maybe it's not any easier than it was stock. I can two finger it easily. I do have an aftermarket braided hose for my taller bars. Not sure if that makes a difference.
