This thread is going to be about the installation of “SoftBrake” levers, along with a “Müllers” hydro clutch kit… and also the “SoftBrake” rear extended brake arm assembly. These are a very nice modification and helpful to hydraulic clutch equipped Harley’s (two and three wheels).
My YouTube video was spliced from different times to show an accurate “before & after” on the levers & hydro kit, but it was approx 2-1/2 - 3 weeks before I was able to get it all completed with the final part of installing the extended rear brake arm assembly with my schedule to get it all completed.
So unfortunately some details were repeated in each of the spliced in videos, so apologies on that….
But hopefully the video will help anyone who either does not know that these exist or possibly on the fence to buy them. These are perfect for any Harley with a hydraulic clutch.
These really work out Great!!!!!
I know there are some guys who like the “adjustable dial” type (from Oberon or PBR just to name a couple) … and I believe there are a few others top companies who also make the “adjustable” levers. They are indeed very nice as well.
What I personally like and prefer is that these “SoftBrake” levers keep the factory look, easy on the wallet and the results are great!
You can check out other products that they also make… (by the way: USA MADE!!)
