Hello, I live in central WI, am a dedicated motorcycle enthusiat with over half a century of riding experience. I married late in life, 8 1/2 years ago, and have a 5 1/2 YO son. I made a sidecar for my XS1100 so wife and son could ride with me, but I really want a trike. I have a 91 Buick Regal, and was considering triking that. I am a welder, fabricator, and machinist, with most of the equipment and know how to do this. I am seeking advice/info about building a body for the rig that will protect my passengers from the raw wind, thus making their riding experience pleasant, to encourage them to share my love of motorcycling. I do belong to the XS11.com forum, and now this one. I am sure I will get much needed info, and am willing to share my knowledge of motorcycles with you. Looking forward to a long and enjoyable time with all of you. Sincerly, Rover

Sorry can't help, but welcome aboard.

Hello, welcome to the eliete trike forum, you will find a lot of good folks here, I also am a fabricator, if you are looking to build a trike with a body you may want to check out the 3800 Buick powered trike I built, There are a few pics of it in my profile, just look for the Giant Killer. Building your own is very rewarding & also saves a bunch of bucks. Caveman

Rover, welcome to one of the best trike forums on the net. I am not a fabricator but do admire those who are blessed with such talent. Take a look at Cavemans trike, i think you will be impressed. I know I am.
