Hi,

New here, still riding a limited at this time, but i am seriously considering going to a trike, wife and i are not both 55 and love to ride but think it might be time to start looking at trikes.

Test rode one a couple of weeks ago and liked it, was different but you really felt stable on it.

Go for the Trike...you will LOVE it! We had been looking at trikes (Harley of course!) for a couple of years when we got rear ended at a stoplight in Charleston SC. Brought the Heritage Softail back to our local dealership to be fixed and a new 2011 TriGlide was just put on the floor. Yes, we left with the new one! And are now on our 2nd TriGlide, a 2014 and absolutely love it!

Welcome from Southeastern Illinois. You will absolutely love the trike. Take it from all of us. Does not matter what kind or make of trike you get. You will enjoy, and you will be welcome here. Congrats.

Welcome to TT Barry, from your fellow Texas members!!! I won't tell you that trikes noting to do with age but I will say your age should have nothing to do with you riding a trike. Many people think the fun is over when changing from two wheels to three. Nothing could be further from reality. I sure haven't slowed down any and have no intention of doing so as long as I'm able....

There is a gob of experience here and our members are always willing to share. We hope you also pass on your stories and knowledge. TrikeTalk is by far the best trike focused bulletin board and you’ll find the members and admin folks the friendliest there are.

When you get settled in, check out Trike Owners International, T.O.I., you may find it a good fit.

Again, WELCOME !!! :xszpv::xszpv:

Hello BMWinger and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. I am on my third Gold Wing, but my first trike. And that is due to disability from an accident. There's no shame in switching from two to three wheels, and once you make the switch you will wonder what took you so long. I personally like the Gold Wing because as of now my trike is a 1990 and has over 100k miles. If you keep up with it you will have a machine that will last lots of miles and put lots of smiles on your face.

WELCOME to Trike Talk. I'm 73 and the wife is 70. We were on 2 wheels until the fall of 2012. I turned my Gold Wing into a trike and never looked back. We are leaving tomorrow morning June 6th for a month trip to Alaska. I was there in 2012 on 2 wheels. Life is good. Be safe and enjoy the ride. Larry

Welcome, hey most people as a kid started riding on a trike, (little smaller) so why not end up on a big trike. Go for it. :pepper::pepper:
